v0.0.50 - Custom Templates, Command Palette and more

Hello, Hyprnote users! ⚡🗒️

Our team is on a shipping streak. We're getting a LOT of feedback from our users every day, and we’re doing our best to keep up with the demand and build what people want as quickly as possible.

Ultimately, we’re getting closer, one step at a time, to our goal of creating the world’s most secure AI meeting notetaker, powered by 100% local AI models.

From now on, we’ll be posting detailed updates on our blog—so we can better share the thinking behind every feature and show what we prioritize and care about when crafting our work. So stay tuned!

So what’s new in v0.0.50…

Custom note/summary templates

In the settings modal, you can now create custom templates for generating meeting summaries with AI. For example, you can use the editor to create a template called daily all hands, like you see in the image below.

Once you finish editing your template, all you have to do is select it when you want the AI to generate your meeting summaries.

With your template selected, whenever you end a meeting and generate notes, the notes will follow the sections you’ve specified in your template!

We believe that to deliver a great meeting experience, the key is personalization. Just because Hyprnote runs 100% locally and doesn’t require you to sign up or create an account doesn’t mean we’re going to compromise on a personalized experience.

Custom templates are the first step toward that goal. We’re already working on more features to help you tailor your meeting experience to your needs, so stay tuned!

Command Palette to enable more robust search

Our old search function was pretty basic, so we decided to step up our game and build a command palette. We know it’s easy to get buried under piles of meeting notes, and it’s no fun to dig through everything manually just to find one sentence from last week’s meeting.

You can open the command palette by pressing cmd+k or clicking the top search bar.

In the new command palette, you can now search (more conveniently) through all your meeting notes, people, and organizations.

In the near future, we plan to add even more functionality to the palette, like Ask AI or activating app features, so you can use it as your one-stop command center for Hyprnote.

Miscellaneous

Besides these two features, we fixed a few bugs to improve the overall usability of the app! We hope this helps you have a smoother and more pleasant meeting experience :)
